At the historic Låven restaurant at Borregaard Hotell, we serve delicious food with a focus on local ingredients and seasonal flavours. Choose between a three-course menu and the dish of the day, whether you’re staying at the hotel or joining us for a relaxed meal with family and friends.

From autumn until Easter, Låven is the hotel’s main restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. High ceilings, exposed wooden beams and a warm, welcoming atmosphere create a charming setting for your meal.

The restaurant is also ideal for conferences, weddings and private events, with seating for up to 120 guests.

Within the barn at Borregaard Hotel, several event spaces provide settings for both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations. Open areas and smaller rooms work together in a balanced layout, where each event finds its own character.

The Orkla Hall forms a natural centre for larger groups, while smaller rooms are well suited for executive meetings, anniversaries and private celebrations. At the same time, the variety of spaces allows the setup to be adapted to both group size and purpose.

Events are arranged with attention to both practical solutions and atmosphere. Whether formal or informal, the setting invites guests to gather, connect and be present throughout the experience.

Weddings in an open and historic setting

At Borregaard Hotel, the barn provides a setting for weddings where both space and intimacy come together. High ceilings and exposed wooden beams create a warm and lively atmosphere, allowing the celebration to unfold naturally throughout the day and evening.

Guests gather around the tables with space for both dining and celebration. The room offers flexibility to shape the experience according to your wishes, whether you are planning a smaller gathering or a larger wedding.

Accommodation and a complete stay

With a bar and lounge at Kornloftet and hotel rooms close by, guests can stay on site throughout the celebration. For smaller and more intimate weddings, the main house offers an alternative setting, with 13 additional rooms and a different atmosphere.

In the former staff residence at Borregaard Hovedgård, a dedicated event house offers a setting for hands-on cooking experiences and social gatherings. Here, smaller groups come together around four fully equipped kitchen stations, working in teams to prepare a shared meal.

Guided by experienced chefs, the activity combines collaboration, creativity and friendly competition. After the cooking session, guests gather around the long table in the adjoining dining room, creating a natural transition from activity to a shared meal.

With capacity for 16–20 participants in the kitchen and up to 30 guests for dining, the space is well suited for team building, executive groups and private celebrations in a more intimate setting.
